Brain imaging studies indicate that many types of depression can be related to lack of bloodflow in the frontal lobes and/or elevations of fast or slow brainwave activity. At our clinic, we perform an initial map of brain electrical activity to identify the dominant brainwaves in order to determine Neurofeedback protocols. We target areas in the frontal and temporal areas of the brain that are usually the locations most associated with depression. We use non-invasive techniques to teach you how to naturally increase blood flow and change your brain’s electrical activity. We have had impressive results with most of our depressed clients.
